Established in 1845, The Coach & Horses has been at the heart of the Dersingham community since the reign of Queen Victoria. Today, this historic inn combines traditional Norfolk charm with modern comfort, offering an award winning destination to dine, stay, and relax in the heart of West Norfolk.
Located less than a mile from the Royal Sandringham Estate and just 10 minutes from the North Norfolk coast, The Coach & Horses is perfectly placed for those looking to explore some of the county’s most celebrated landscapes, attractions, and wildlife.
At the heart of our offering is our AA Rosette restaurant, where our talented team creates seasonal menus using quality ingredients sourced from local farmers, fishermen, and suppliers wherever possible. From relaxed lunches and memorable evening meals to our renowned Sunday roasts, every dish reflects our passion for great food and genuine Norfolk hospitality.

At the heart of our Sunday menu is the Great Coach & Horses Sunday Roast. A timeless British tradition, our roasts are carefully prepared using quality ingredients and served with all the classic accompaniments. Combining comforting flavours with the finest local produce, our Sunday lunches have become a firm favourite with both locals and visitors alike.
