Breakfast
Served in our restaurant from 8:00 AM – bright and early – is breakfast. This morning food service is a real treat for both guests staying in our rooms and drop-in diners.
Much like the diversity seen in our main menu, the breakfast menu at The Coach & Horses offers a delightful mix of classic British breakfast meals and lighter dishes with a seasonal twist. The final touch is a display of homemade pastries, cakes, and bread – ideal if you’re in need of a quick but satisfying bite before starting your day.
As mentioned above, you don’t have to book a room to enjoy breakfast with us as all diners are welcome.

Sunday Roasts
At The Coach & Horses, Sunday roasts are a big deal – a time for locals of this lovely village and travelling diners to come together and soak up good traditional pub food, share laughs, and enjoy the calming ambience of our restaurant before a busy week ahead.
As the star dish during Sunday lunch, our roast dinners provide that feel-good, comforting taste needed to enjoy a relaxed end to the week.
Boasting fresh, locally sourced ingredients and produce, like prime meat from the neighbouring Sandringham Estate, steaming plates of home-cooked goodness fill our restaurant, along with the rich aroma and unparalleled taste of proper gravy, tender meat, and all the beloved trimmings.
If you would like to join us for a Sunday roast, please book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Drinks
At The Coach & Horses, we offer a carefully selected range of drinks to suit every taste, whether you’re joining us for a meal, catching up with friends, or enjoying a quiet drink at the bar.
Real ale remains at the heart of our offering, with our two permanent ales, Abbot Ale and Woodforde’s Wherry, available throughout the year. Alongside these favourites, we regularly feature a selection of guest ales, giving customers the opportunity to enjoy new and seasonal brews from local and regional breweries.
Our bar is also home to an extensive range of wines, spirits, beers and ciders, including a fantastic selection of hand-crafted Norfolk gins. We are proud to serve our very own Coach House Gin, created by What A Hoot Distillery and inspired by the Norfolk countryside, with a carefully balanced blend of botanicals that creates a smooth and distinctive flavour.
For cocktail lovers, we offer a range of expertly crafted classics and contemporary favourites, perfect for any occasion. We also have a dedicated alcohol-free menu featuring a variety of beers, spirits and refreshing alternatives, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Whatever your preference, you’ll always find a warm welcome, friendly service and a well-stocked bar at The Coach & Horses.

Beer Garden
Our beautiful garden provides the perfect opportunity to soak up the sunshine and fresh Norfolk air whenever we’re lucky enough to get it.
The sunsets from our spacious terrace are stunning – a lovely backdrop for enjoying a relaxed meal, a light snack, or a glass of something refreshing.
With plenty of open space, shaded seating, and a welcoming atmosphere, our garden is ideal for long lunches, laid-back evenings, or simply unwinding in good company.
We’re also proud to be a family-friendly spot. To keep little ones entertained, we offer a variety of garden games – including giant Jenga, dominoes, and soft footballs for a kickabout on the grass.
Whether you’re visiting for a casual drink or a full dining experience, our garden offers a stress-free, welcoming space for all.
