We’re proud to hold a 4 Gold Star Inn rating, an AA Rosette for culinary excellence and an award for our breakfast — but what our guests remember most is the warmth. We’ve been welcoming visitors to Dersingham since 1846, and these days local brothers Nick and Tom carry on that tradition with eight beautiful boutique rooms and a kitchen that celebrates the best of Norfolk.

After a day exploring Sandringham or the North Norfolk coast, you’ll want somewhere genuinely comfortable to come home to. Every one of our eight rooms offers:

- King size or superking beds dressed in crisp, high-quality linen
- Luxury toiletries made just up the road in Snettisham
- Tea and espresso machine, mini fridge and safe — all the thoughtful touches you’d expect
Travelling as a family? Several of our rooms sleep up to three or four with sofa beds and Z-beds available on request. Bringing your four-legged friend? Five of our rooms are dog-friendly, complete with a cosy dog bed, bowls, blankets and biscuits waiting on arrival.
And for something special, ask about Kempe and Nelson — our two rooms in the original 1846 building, where historic character meets modern comfort.

Our kitchen holds an AA Rosette for culinary excellence, and one taste tells you why. Head Chef Jozef brings over 24 years of experience to a menu built on the freshest ingredients from Norfolk’s farmers, fishermen and producers — including prime meat from the neighbouring Sandringham Estate for our famous Sunday roasts.
Whether you fancy a beautifully done pub classic or something seasonal and inventive, you’ll find it here, alongside real ales on tap, our own Coach House Gin and an eclectic wine list. On warm evenings, the beer garden terrace is the place to be — the sunsets are rather special.

Mornings at the Coach are something to look forward to. Our award-winning breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM, with everything from classic British favourites to lighter seasonal dishes — plus homemade pastries, fresh bread, Norfolk honeycomb and fresh fruits. It’s the perfect send-off before a day at Sandringham or on the coast.

- Dersingham Bog Nature Reserve — a magical landscape of rare wildlife, moments from the village.
- The North Norfolk coast — the beaches of Hunstanton, Heacham and Brancaster are a short drive away, along with crabbing at Wells-next-the-Sea.
