Guest Reviews

From the moment you arrive you enter a modern doorway that leads in to a beautifully decorated bar/dining area. The Staff are all warm, friendly and welcoming and you already feel like you are a valued customer. Our room was going to be ready in around 20-30 minutes so we had a drink in the bar and sat on the comfortable sofas and chairs and watched the place fill up with regulars and concert goers.
We were then taken to our room, named "Kempe" and I can honestly say, you would be hard pushed to find a more exquisitely finished decor in a hotel. The colour palette used was amazing and the attention to detail on finishes, lighting, and fittings was outstanding. The whole place exuded quality and real class and the refurbishment was clearly at a very high level.
Once settled in the room, we head back down for a roast dinner and that was equally impressive and the food is clearly a huge pull for the area because the dining area was fit to burst and people clearly love everything about this place. The manager has a very welcoming approach and is clearly running a well oiled machine with her team because everything just runs like clockwork and she and her team make your stay just perfect and nothing is too much trouble, even when we asked for some food after the kitchen had closed in the evening! The bed was supremely comfortable and the aircon made the temperature just perfect for a relaxing nights sleep. The bathroom was enormous with a large shower and bath and beautifully finished. The standard of the toiletries was amazing, they were such lovely quality and again, made the experience a bit more special. Breakfast the following morning was also a gastronomic triumph and the quality of the food and its execution and portion size was just amazing. The head chef and his team are putting out sensational food here.
I will happily say that this is THE BEST Hotel/restaurant we have stayed in across the UK for all the boxes to be ticked as superb. If you are heading to Sandringham or the surrounding area, you simply have to stay here, its just outstanding in every way.

This is more than just a pub, it is a boutique hotel, the rooms were fabulous, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. You could really tell the care the builders have taken to renovate this place.
We had a wonderful meal on one night (10 of us) all of us really enjoyed it, we couldn't fault anything. The staff were lovely and looked after us wonderfully. I can't praise the place enough.
We were there for a sporting event at Sandringham and had spent almost every weekend in June around the Country staying at various venues, this was the tops. Great job Coach and Horses!!!!!

The Coach and Horses in Dersingham was pleasantly and surprisingly good. We were visiting Sandringham and had our little French bulldog with us and had requested a dog-friendly room. This proved to be an excellent place to stay, modern, clean and with superb quiet air-conditioning, which was excellent during the heatwave that we have just been experiencing.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, including the housekeeper, working with a team spirit! The food in the restaurant had a good choice and it was prepared and served in good time.
We would like to say a ‘BIG’ thank you to all the staff as our stay was amazing because of all of them.

We stayed at the Coach in the Russell room and had dinner and breakfast while there. The room was really comfortable, clean and quiet and had a great shower. Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional and value for money, offering a varied choice across all elements, and was served in a timely fashion and by helpful and knowledgeable staff.
The ambiance in the restaurant and bar was enjoyable with plenty of ‘buzz’ without being overpowering, and a mix of locals and guests making for a varied clientele.
The bar staff are really friendly and helpful as are the restaurant and waiting staff, and mention should go to the chef and his team for providing a memorable meal. The Coach should be on everyone’s list for a visit if you are in the area, and would provide a great base for a weekend away or a longer more relaxing stay
