Named after Roger Taylor, a member of one of the most famous rock bands in the world – Queen! Taylor was born at West Norfolk & Lynn Hospital in Kings Lynn on the 26th of July 1949.
Coincidentally, the new maternity ward was opened by the future Queen Elizabeth II, who was introduced to Winifred Taylor, Roger Taylor’s mother.
