About Us
Established in 1845, The Coach & Horses has been welcoming locals and visitors since the reign of Queen Victoria. Nestled in the Norfolk countryside in the beautiful village of Dersingham, less than a mile from the Sandringham Royal Estate, the Coach & Horses provides the perfect place to dine, stay and relax.
Providing the comfort and cosiness of a traditional, rural pub, our beautiful restaurant offers fantastic, seasonal dishes using only the best local ingredients. And with 8 individually designed en-suite hotel rooms, perfectly suited to couples, families and friends alike, your visit to our beautiful area can last as long as you want it to!
Welcoming locals and travellers from afar, much of our charm comes from the stunning local area where we are situated. Being so close to areas including Sandringham, Hunstanton and Snettisham, makes us an ideal resting ground for explorers and nature lovers alike.

The exciting, seasonal menu at the Coach & Horses is a collection of classic pub meals and tantalisingly adventurous dishes, with bar snacks to keep everyone happy. Our 8 rooms are rich with individual character, charm and comfort. Graciously named after famed personalities from King’s Lynn, there is a perfect room for every visitor, from couples and families with children to dog lovers and travelling twitchers.
Each room is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high specification. All our rooms are spacious, charming, and airy, whilst maintaining a relaxing, cosy vibe. Every room has its own beautiful en-suite, tea and coffee-making facilities with elegant, muted furnishings to inspire peaceful relaxation, with views over the Dersingham countryside.

Sunday lunch
Sunday Lunch at our pub and restaurant offer even more ways to experience the magic of our kitchen. Like the rest of the food at Coach & Horses, these special menus are made with locally sourced produce and ingredients, including fresh meat from the Sandringham Estate.
Our Sunday Lunch menu provides both residents and visitors with an unrivalled start to the day, available from 7:30 am, we offer homemade pastries, cakes and bread alongside hearty breakfast favourites, and lighter dishes with a seasonal twist.
At the end of a busy week and towards the onset of another, one dish reigns supreme in our restaurant – the Great Coach & Horses Sunday Roast. A feel-good Sunday classic, our roast dinners are unrivalled, providing that nostalgic taste of home, family, and belonging in our own divine way. Please book to avoid disappointment.
